DECISION
This collection of creative works dedicated to the circus comprises paintings, graphic illustrations, and textile products created for the Big Saint Petersburg State Circus. My inspiration stemmed from the artistic creations of Marc Chagall, but my task was to infuse this style with a modern touch and connect it with contemporary acts and circus troupes.

During the creation process of this collection, I had a unique opportunity not only to observe performances from the audience but also to immerse myself in the circus atmosphere, spending time behind the scenes. This allowed me to interact with the artists and become acquainted with their creative process, experiencing the moments of preparation and performance alongside them. This direct contact enabled me to perceive the circus not only as a distant spectator but also from within, appreciating its artistry and atmosphere on a deeper level.

This unique experience subsequently inspired me to create a series of creative works depicting the behind-the-scenes life and performers of the circus. The works are executed in oil, charcoal, and pastel.
